Favorite Photos #15, Colorado

We have truly been blessed during the last 12 years of traveling. We are currently at our home in Atascadero and will be for several months. We are 97.916 percent Full Time Motorhome Travelers. While home we don't anticipate many interesting stories, so we'll send out some of our favorite photos taken during our trips. This is collection #15 featuring Colorado. Favorites #1 started with August 2006 and this takes us through September 2008. So, don't worry, we won't run out of photos.

The MotherShip relaxing at Elk Meadow RV Park in Estes, Colorado.

A Rocky Mountain National Park marmot.

A statue at the peak of the highest park trail (close to the road).

View of the Rocky Mountain Alpine Visitor Center from the 12,000 foot plus statue.

Dillon Reservoir in Frisco, Colorado.

This man probably was not going to jump from 14,114 feet, but was talked back to safety anyway.

A portion of the 6 miles of pavement (in 2008). The entire 19 miles road to the top is now paved.

Balloons skimming the surface of Prospect Lake in Colorado Springs.

Balloons sequentially dropping into a secret landing zone.

Bridge over the Pueblo Colorado River Walk.

Statues on the river walk, some more lifelike than others.

Brahma on the walk.

A rock sculpture of a stealth aircraft on highway 3A near Royal Gorge, Colorado.

Highway 3A before it joins Highway 50 heading back to Pueblo.

Exiting from Colorado, this turkey was roaming the basin of Palo Duro Canyon in Amarillo, Texas.

Palo Duro Canyon is home to this road runner, but we saw no sign of the coyote.

Nothing like home movies, eh? Be blessed and we'll see you next week.

With love, Pete, Ellen and Mandy
