Favorite Photos #16 Oklahoma City River Walk
The Skirvin Hilton Hotel is just on the border of Oklahoma City's Bricktown.
The Oklahoma City National Memorial, site of the Murray Federal Building bombing.
When we were young we heard about the "Dust Bowl", that area in Oklahoma and the Mid-West that
were barren un-farmable lands. That was a long time ago and things have changed. Oklahoma now has
more man-made lakes than any other state, more than 200. And it has dozens of rivers. One river
the North Canadian River flows through Oklahoma City. In the city it is labeled the Oklahoma River.
The city has created a beautiful river walk, one of our favorites and enjoyed by this little guy.

Sonic Drive-In's corporate office. So many, like us, thought you could get a burger at this building,
that they added a "walk in" location outside on the 1st floor.
Beautiful lady enjoys OK waterfall.
Tame wildlife along the river.
The horses got a little spooked by the rushing water.
This group symbolizes those who fled the Dust Bowl, but can now return.
This is just a lovely way to spend your day.
Time line murals give a little history lesson.
Pete rubs the head for good luck or asks the genie for three wishes or thanks God he has hair
or wonder why, if you were only a half of man would you spend the whole day trying to push
a huge ball up a ramp?
Moving East, this foot bridge is close to Aux Arc State Park, Ozark, Arkansas.
Leaving Hwy 40 heading north east we ended up at Ozark's Luxury RV Resort on Table Rock Lake.
This was our second visit to this incredible resort. Every site has a view of Table Rock Lake.
Sunrise in the Ozarks brought to you by Ellen.
A few minutes later overlooking Table Rock Lake.
Branson Missouri at Lake Taneycomo, which looks not like a lake but a river.
More photos to come next week. Let us know what's going on in your life!
With love, Pete, Ellen and Mandy
