Oceans, West Coast Photo Collection
Our Oceans of the West Coast Collection starts with Alaska's Resurrection Bay. From our Holgate glacier tour with Pete's sister Donnalee, we captured these shots. This four foot otter relaxes and perhaps waves as we cruise by.
The birds and sea lions are prevalent in the bay.
Mountains surrounding Resurrection Bay.
Moving south to the city of Victoria on British Columbia's Vancouver Island.
Sunset from Weir Beach RV Resort on the southern tip of Vancouver Island.
The Pacific Ocean, San Diego Bay, California. 1) Downtown San Diego. 2) USS Midway Aircraft Carrier.
This young man most likely lives here as he was not phased by the sunset.
Sunset photo taken near Chula Vista RV Resort.
Huntington Beach, California pier and sunset.
To the west, Catalina Island Casino and homes. The casino has been an Avalon Bay icon since 1929. There has never been
gambling;
casino is an Italian word meaning "gathering place".
Even further west, Ellen overlooks the cliffs on Maui, Hawaii.
Melissa and Emily exploring the rocky beach prior to seeing the humpback whale on the way to Molokini crater.

One of the dozens of fabulous Avila Beach sunrises.
If you don't like the exorbitant fees to dry camp at Avila Beach, head to Rincon Parkway just north of Ventura, California.
Park right along the Pacific Ocean and listen to the waves crash all night.
Dry camping fees here are slightly less than exorbitant There are no facilities, no reservations and it is often full when
you arrive.
Sunsets at Rincon Parkway are outstanding.
Another week before we move and we'll try to bring you another collection.
With love, Pete, Ellen and Mandy
