Week 794 - Grand Canyon North Rim Photo Collection - 10-31-2021

Grand Canyon North Rim Photo Collection

In October 2011 we visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

You don't just "drop in" to the North Rim like you can at the South Rim.

It is 141 miles from St. George, Utah and 207 miles from Flagstaff, Arizona.

It is worth the trip as you can see.

From the South Rim you can get good views of the Colorado River.

It is rare to see the river from the North Rim.

However the rock formations on the north are fabulous.

Isn't that girl cute? And Ellen looks nice too.

Mandy was 12 weeks old on her first trip to the canyon.

There are many photos you can get with "natural" framing.

Enjoy our snapshots. It is hard to get a bad photo at the North Rim.

One of few glimpses you get of the Colorado River.

The North Rim campground is quiet, serene and close to the rim.

"What's our favorite place?"

"The people." We miss you guys!

With love, Pete, Ellen and Mandy
