Big Rig Bible on your Phone

Today more people in the USA access websites on their phone than on their desktops. And this trend will only continue. Here is what our Home Page looks like on a desktop.

If you are viewing this on your phone right now then it actually looks like this! The text is tiny especially for mature eyes! And the link buttons are pretty difficult to click with your finger.

To give our viewers a better experience, we have implemented Responsive Web Design (RWD). This means that our site content will adjust to fit your phone. Big Rig Bible has 698 pages as of today (08-23-2015). It took dozens of hours to reformat all the pages and photographs to look good on a phone. But now you can easily access our site by phone, tablet or your desktop. The desktop experience will always be the best with larger pictures but now you will not have to scroll sideways on your phones. Vertical scrolling will always be necessary as we have not cut out any content for the phone formats.

The phone home page now looks like this. The text is readable without coke-bottle glasses and the buttons are large for easy finger touches. We eliminated the nice photo of Avila Beach with the MotherShip and Ben and Sid's Ralphie but all the content you want is still available.

If you want to see the desktop version of the site, on your phone, just turn it to landscape position and you will see the entire desktop page. On on larger phone like our Samsung Note, it is usable, but glasses will make the experience more fun!

Most pages do not eliminate information like the Home Page. Compare the desktop view of Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort with the phone view.

Phone View has all the information with nice large text and photos.

All of our RV park listings link to the website for the park. Some of these park sites will also display nicely on your phone, but many will not. This will change over time, especially if you tell them to hire us to implement RWD on their site. Enough of the shameless plug.

With almost 700 pages converted to RWD, we may have not done a perfect conversion of every page. Please let us know if any page on your phone has text too small or links that your fat little fingers make it difficult to navigate.
