Week 809 - Heading Home - 02-14-2022

Heading Home

The last 16 years we've had hundreds of questions about how to travel in an RV.

How do you pick where to go?

How do you pick where to stay overnight?

Where do you refuel your motorhome?

 Do you eat out out?

What is cost for food, fuel and overnight stays?

Doesn't the cost of fuel keep you from traveling?

How do you get your mail?

What do you like best about traveling?

How long will we do this?

 Don't you miss your family?

Of course we do! Which is why this week we are taking a 10-day trip "home". This will be our first car trip (no MotherShip) in 16 years.

Wow! We have hundreds of questions about a car trip.

How do you pick where to go?
How do you pick where to stay overnight?
Where do you refuel?
Do you eat out out?
What is cost for food, fuel and overnight stays?
Doesn't the current inflated cost of fuel keep you from traveling?
How do you get your mail?
What do you like best about traveling?
How long will we do this? This we know, 10 days.

Hopefully our faithful viewers can reply with answers. Or we'll just have to be pioneers and figure it out for ourselves. No travelogue next week as our computer is in the MotherShip.

If no one tells us how, we'll don our coonskin caps and go where "No Mattson has gone before".

The following week we let you know what we figured out.

We also want to wish all of you a Happy Valetines Day. This Valetines greeting is from 2010 but still expresses our feelings today. (Note: Someday we will update this Valentines greeting. Not soon as it took 60 hours to create this one!)
Happy Valentines

With love, Pete, Ellen and Mandy
