Upon arrival Coralyn jumped on the ScooterShip with "Babbity", the rabbit.
Micah's party was the first week and while a great party, we forgot to get photos. 1) Emily's husband Chad chats with his dad Steve, his brother-in-law Joey, sister Stephanie. 2) Coralyn starts in on her presents as Zeb and Micah patiently wait.
Coralyn was excited to open her presents and Zeb was no less so. Grandma Esther looks on as Emily helps the little one.
1) "Hey, guys, does anyone care about me? My birthday is July 13th, just so you'll know." 2) Grandma Ellen shows off Coralyn's new bathing suit.
"Hey mom, am I ..... adorable?"
Emily got her chance to blow out candles. It was her "cake", so we're not quite sure
what two means.
All the queen's children. Emily with sister-in-law Stephanie, left; and good friend Angie on the right.
Missing is Hannie, sleeping off her two-month ordeal of being born.
It is always fun to visit Chad, Emily and their four children. Each day starts with two or three of the oldest knocking on the MotherShip door before any grandparents are up. Ellen starts her day entertaining as Pete's hides under the covers hoping not to be found until the sun comes up.
We are so blessed that Em and Chad installed full hookups, including 50 amps (i.e. air conditioning). We can stay as long as we need to get our Grand Kids Fix. This time 10 days.
Next week we are off to Cummins in Redding for some service, stay a few days and then mosey down to Atascadero to park at our house for a while. Our plan is to stop renting, making it our primary residence for two years and then sell. Any offers?
With love, Pete, Ellen and Mandy
