Week 489 - Yappy New Year - 12-27-2015

Yappy New Year!

You know I was just thinking, I haven't written to my fans in quite a while. I think it's time. Mom and Dad hate it when I send email, they say my paws get the keyboard all dirty. And I have nothing interesting to say. So I'll have to wait until bedtime and I'll sneak out.

Darn it. I fell asleep. And they woke up before me. Now I'll have to wait until they go play pickleball or take a walk.

Well, I'd better comb my hair and get some breakfast.

Good, there they go for a walk. Now where's that computer? Aha, I see it.

These big paws are going to make it tough, but I'll find a way. I'll start . . .

I'll write about some of the fun things I did in 2015.

There was that day that Dad and I played hide and go seek. 1) I tried to hide in my crate. But, I'm too big now to get inside. 2) I thought my colors blended well with the towel, but Dad still found me. 3) "You can't see me", but he did. Finally, I got the best of Dad.

I pretended to be Mom's head!

What else did I do? Oh, yeah, I am a good comfort dog. When Mom was resting up from her eye surgery, I never left her side.

No matter how long it took, I was always there for her, alert and ready to spring into action. I took care of Zeb too when he was feeling a little puny.

Do you remember some of the other things I did? 1) Here I leapt from the top of the couch with only pillows to land on. I'm pretty brave, huh? 2) Here I am grooming myself to be Liza Minnelli.

I do a lot of imitations. I'll do my Sylvester the Cat. With a little extra pressure, I got it!

My Gilligan was always a party favorite. Ha, ha, I crack myself up.

What should I plan for 2016? I think I'd make a good movie director. The cigarette looks good in Hollywood. I'm creative and I can play the parts too.

1) Here I am in Runaway Bride 2) The Mane from Snowy River? 3) In Mexico I could shoot Hunt the Doggie Bounter. 4) Maybe the Love Boat as Captain Drooly.

1) How about Mork and Mandy? 2) Evel Dog Knievel? 3) Beach Blanket Bosco with Annette Poochicello? 4) and Sherlock Bones!

Those are a lot of good ideas. But, you know, I'm just plain good looking. 1) I could be a model. 2) Check me out with mood lighting.

Wow, I'm amazing. I have accomplished all this in just four years. Is my head getting bigger?

I am exhausted. Enough of me talking about me. Now you say something nice about me! Uh oh! Mom's home and she looks mad! She's making me go to bed without supper.

I know I shouldn't have written this stuff. But Mom always loves me. How do I know? Because she found my email and . . .
