Week 336-338 - Still Looking for Warm - 02-03-2013

Hello from sunny Arizona!

We are still looking for warm weather, it's not here yet! As we will be at Palm Creek Pickleball & RV Resort in Casa Grande, Arizona for two months, this is our last map update until April. We left freezing Gila Bend, went to freezing Surprise and now in slightly thawing Casa Grande. It has been too cold to travel on the scooter, so photos this week are few.

We last left off with Mandy in Gila Bend.

This was an overnight at Sunflower RV Resort in Surprise. We stayed in Surprise ten days for two Pickleball tournaments. One night at Sunflower, four nights at Happy Trails and five nights at Good Sam and Walmarts.

Well, at least it was warm visiting Aunt Betty Lynn in rehab. Betty Lynn had a knee replacement and is doing well.

Unfortunately Betty Lynn could not make it to Macayos for dinner. So Barbara and Bobby rounded up some of the family for good food and a nice visit.

It did warm up in the afternoon at the Mission Royale Pickleball Tournament where Pete with his partner Don won the bronze medal in the Men's 4.0 Skill event.

We have seven more weeks of places we've been, people we've know and T-shirts we've got, while we play in Pickleball Tournaments. But, we will try our best to find something new and interesting to send while we are here.
