Week 35 - Southern Texas - 04-15-2007

Howdy!

After freezing temperatures in Fort Davis TX, we headed on to warm weather in Big Bend National Park on Easter Sunday. Big Bend is the largest and least visited of all the National Parks. We took many beautiful pictures in Big Bend.  We visited the Hot Springs that was built by a pioneer in the 1800's.  It is still working today. As we traveled across Texas we had an opportunity to see so many beautiful creations of God.  Ducks, turtles, birds, plants and flowers. What is very amazing to us was how wet and green Texas was from Del Rio all the way to Galveston.  We drove through hundreds of miles of green grass, trees, fields, streams and marshes.  This part of Texas is beautiful and vacant.
